We are seeking a Data Architectto join our client team in Neenah, WI. This position is preferred to be Hybrid, 2 days a week onsite.
Job Summary:
The Data Architect plays a pivotal role in solving business problems by identifying, evaluating, and selecting technology-related solutions. This individual works collaboratively across multiple domains, facilitating discussions with business stakeholders, project managers, IT leaders, other architects, and technical teams to propose viable solution options. With a focus on ensuring the technical integrity, appropriateness, and Enterprise Architecture alignment of solutions, the Data Solution Architect is vital for steering the technological direction of projects.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and develop schema's for BI solutions, system governance processes, and other data/BI asset management processes.
- Understand the needs of various business groups, lead the design, development, and communication of solutions, ensure quality, and oversee the overall relationship.
- Serve as the Data Solution Architect for significant projects, particularly in core business growth areas, ensuring deliverables align with architectural design and project goals.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide architecture reference and successful patterns and establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for insurance suite knowledge sharing and standardization.
- Lead the planning and design of complex technical solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with industry best practices.
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Data platforms (Data Factory, SQL Server, Synapse, Data Lake).
- 10+ years of experience in data/BI solution development and/or architecting enterprise data/BI solutions.
- Proficient in ETL & BI tools (e.g., Azure Cloud, ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Hub Events, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical data accessible to a broad audience.
Preferred:
- Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
- Experience implementing an enterprise insurance suite, such as Duck Creek core product suite.
- Azure certifications.
- Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or similar architecture frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of different ETL & BI tools, including Azure Cloud technologies and data modeling techniques.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with technology teams and business partners.
- Proficiency in emerging data technologies and patterns, with a keen ability to adopt and apply new innovations effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on mentorship and team development.
- Demonstrated ability in effectively engaging and presenting to stakeholders across both business and technology functions.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure technical solutions in line with business strategies.
Trissential offers a competitive rate for this role ranging between $75 to $85 per hour. The project is a short-term project estimated to be three to six months in length, 40 hours per week, and is benefit eligible.
