Data and Reporting Analyst

The Data Analyst will work directly with TruNorthe’s current analysis team to assist building and maintaining our data models using Excel. This is a high visibility position with opportunities for advancement and potential to make a strong, positive impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain excel models (Trackers) that serve as the primary source of market/project specific data. Ensure that models are built consistently across similar markets/projects and are efficiently integrated with TruNorthe’s proprietary system and Reporting tools.
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by assisting with the formulation and collection of key assumptions, preparing market-level budgets/forecasts, and analyzing results.
• Drive process improvement and constant Excel/Power BI creation
• Compile key operating metrics on a historical and projected basis.
• Analyze, organize and improve data flowing through models, reports and systems using logical database modeling concepts and relational database management skills.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Market Leads, The Operations team and T-Mobile to understand business objectives, validate the quality and completeness of data analyzed, and communicate the results

Required Qualifications

• Self-reliant/learning. (This job is constantly evolving and requires someone who can learn new systems quickly and by themselves.) (REQUIRED)
• Extremely Proficient with Microsoft Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and Power BI (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge of logical data modeling concepts
• SQL, VB, .NET (optional, but a big plus!)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience with Excel and Power BI
• CPA, CFA, MBA (optional)
