The Opportunity
As part of the America’s leadership team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly-motivated Data Analyst to support our Sales Operations Team with data including industry analysis, market share by segment, and retail results/trends. Develop analysis and increase Dealer visibility for retail, market share, and inventory management performance through Tableau other Sales Dashboards. This position will have exposure to many departments in Sales, Product Marketing, Division, and Executive Management within SANY America as well as the Dealer Network as it will be the main source for data and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will work directly with the Director of Sales Operation to ensure an effective strategy is executed. This will require:
- Define, plan, deliver and test new features on core data products, not limited to:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Throughput analysis
- Variance analysis
- Pricing analysis
- Retail performance
- Market trends (risk/opportunity)
- Inventory cycles
- Support existing reporting environments (Amazon Web-Services (AWS), Tableau, SFDC, SQL, and SAP)
- Remove incorrect, corrupted, incorrectly formatted, duplicate, or incomplete data with, a dataset
- Contribute to our data pipeline with an in-depth knowledge of modern data modeling
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
- Four or more years of experience developing, testing, and implementing major Information Technology programs or projects that are broad in scope or multi-unit/cross-divisional
- Experience building and supporting global, production-scale, cloud-based systems that are business-critical using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with data structures or data modeling
- Coding experience with Python, SQL, C, JCL, and/or SAS
- Experience with DBMS tools: MySQL, DB2 z/OS, AWS Redshift, Oracle, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, XML
- Experience with Data Processing tools: AWS ElasticMapReduce (AMR), AWS Data Pipeline, Git, Github, Informatica
- Experience with Utility Applications: MS Office, SAP BI, Tableau, Toad, PowerBI
- Professional-level Amazon Web Services certifications
- Strong working experience utilizing Python and MySQL
- Experience with the following: Flask, unittest, flask testing, PostgreSQL, AWS ECS, RDS, CircleJI, Jest, JS, ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, SASS / SCSS
- Earned or currently pursuing an Advanced degree in Analytics
- Experience with Sales or Commercial Operations principles and lean development
- Outstanding listening, written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Outstanding ability to create necessary reports for key partners.
- Have a Root Cause/Countermeasure approach to problem solving (analytical vs. intuitive)
- Ability to work independently while simultaneously handling multiple projects
- Process driven, detailed oriented, results driven and self-motivated
- Ability to build trust and maintain confidential information
EDUCATION
- Bachelor of Science in Analytics or equivalent experience
