JOB SUMMARY

The Data Analyst II at JOC Analytics plays a multifaceted role, responsible for monitoring data operations including data pulls, adjustments, and resolving customer issues. In support of the Senior Data Analyst, this position contributes to the full spectrum of product fulfillment and ongoing maintenance. A key expectation for this role is the ability to learn and master the construction of our product tools using client data. This position is pivotal in transforming complex data sets into strategic insights using Power BI development, driving the decision-making process within our dynamic team. A strong foundation in programming, system administration, and security principles will be highly regarded.This role is offered on an at-will employment basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

· Identify and collect data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevancy.

· Clean and preprocess data for analysis.

· Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to our clients.

· Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.

· Solve complex problems and provide scalable solutions.

· Implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of data handling and visualization.

· Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and deliver customized BI solutions.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in BI technology, data analysis methodologies, and industry best practices.

· Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity in reporting processes.

· Apply systematics problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot and resolve any errors within PowerView,

· Collaborate with the Chief Data Analyst (CDA), following their guidance to support builds, projects, and analytical initiatives.

· Manage the connection to client servers, ensuring secure and efficient setup for data builds.

· Provide exceptional customer support, maintaining clear and responsive communication channels for client inquiries and feedback.

· Undertake additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team’s success.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficiency in Power BI development, including DAX queries, data modeling, and visualization techniques, with a willingness to further enhance and broaden these skills.

· Strong ability in using statistical tools and methodologies for analyzing large datasets.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/EDUCATION GUIDELINES

Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Salary: From $65,000.00 per year based on experience and skill level

Experience:

· Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network and system administration work, with 2 or more years of demonstrated expertise in data analysis roles.

· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the Emergency Restoration Industry preferred.

Training/Education:

· Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.

· Professional certifications in Power BI or other relevant BI tools are highly preferred.

· Commitment to ongoing professional development in data analytics and continuous learning in the evolving landscape of business intelligence tools and technologies.
