We are currently seeking a Data Analyst II responsible for researching, gathering and presenting data as it pertains to consultative selling engagements and to validate data within the asset analytics platform.
Responsibilities- Execute ETL processes and workflows to capture, store and process utility infrastructure data in specific ways that make it actionable in machine learning/modeling processes.
- Collaborate with Solution Consultants and other staff members to provide data needed to supplement the consultative selling engagements.
- Analyze data and identify trends in individual customers and the entire electric and telecom utility population as a whole.
- Download and apply spatial datasets using GIS Software to perform ad hoc analyses as well as to supplement the Asset Analytics platform of models.
- Assist the Data Engineer in gathering company wide data for utilization outside of the Asset Analytics team.
- Serve as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion.
- Use defined application requirements to validate outcomes from the a suite of applications.
- Process and confirm pole details to assess need for field work.
- Manage assignments and meet/exceed production goals.
- Coordinate with Field Management and allocate job assignments to field poles.
- Use data/ project management systems to document and track job progress.
- Assist other project teams if workflow increases.
- Track and report incoming volume from customer.
- Track time spent on various projects and customers.
- Contribute to other related projects and plans not specifically noted necessary to obtain the objectives of the operations group.

- Experience with Joint Use systems a plus (NJUNS, ALDEN ONE, SPANS, SPIDA)
- A minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a similar role.
- Proven history of generating innovative and effective data analyses.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, T-SQL skills, basic working knowledge of modern scripting languages (preferably R and Python).
- Utilities services background a plus.
