Reporting to the Director, Consumer Service, this role will join a team of specialists dedicated to serving our consumers and an analytics community excited to deploy advanced analytics throughout the business.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an analyst to accelerate our use of data and who will:
- Partner with the business to understand how analytics can inform their decisions.
- Analyze, transform, and improve large/complex data sources to surface insights for internal collaborators
- Synthesize and present large amounts of information in a universally understandable way to enable business partners to explore and identify patterns for business improvement
- Generate reports and dashboards using BI tools and/or other systems e.g. SAP, Salesforce
- Research and collaborate to identify methodologies and rules for data cleaning
- Identify high level data modeling needs to help make reports and dashboards faster and more efficient
- Build and maintain a solid understanding of data sets available, ensure data cataloging and metadata quality
- Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Education and Experience:
A successful candidate will be a lifelong learner who has:
- Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in Analytics or relevant work experience, advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of one year of related work experience
- Experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and analytical techniques
- Motivation to explore data, new analytical methods, and continuously learn
