As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages information to support corporate decision making.
- Manages and improves existing reporting systems.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies
- Cleanse, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats
- Provides technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts.
- Perform statistical analysis and data modeling
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data sets
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities
- Provide support for data-driven projects and initiatives
- Performs complex analyses.
- Defines company data assets (data models), spark, sparkSQL, and hiveSQL jobs to populate data models.
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Advanced analytical knowledge of data
- Conducting big data analysis
- Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Strong programming skills in Python and VBA
- Developing algorithms
- Experience working with server-based databases
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages such as R
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management
- Ability to use Power BI or similar tools for data visualization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Business analysis
```Qualification```
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related experience
- Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, decision making, customer service, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, project management, quality management, teamwork, written communication, group presentations, group process facilitation, influence, results orientation, strategic thinking, and team building
