Job description:
We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst with at least 5+ years of IT experience and ERP systems experience
Top Desired Skills:
1. 4+ years experience as a Data Analyst in an IT environment. Will be working with data from company website and ecommerce site.
2. ERP Systems experience – Experience working with ERP data
3. Experience with SQL, extracting data from excel.
4. Experience with ETL and data modeling is a plus.
Data Quality Analyst
New contract opportunity for a skilled Data Quality Analyst to develop procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of our organization's data. The focus will be data error detection and correction on business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed, or used. Your strong data analysis skills will ensure clean data that can be enacted upon by analytic systems and application code, thereby maintaining our high-quality standards for products and services. The Data Quality Analyst will interact with other teams to resolve data quality-related issues.
Responsibilities
o Ensure data reliability by identifying anomalies, helping to resolve issues, helping to set data standards
o Rely on analytical, organizational, and investigative skills in order to take on data mining projects
o Review and clean large datasets to identify and rectify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and duplicates
o Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions
o Evaluating and identifying where system enhancements are required
o Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify, interpret trends, and patterns in complex data sets
o Review data from multiple applications and perform root cause analysis on data issues and recommend data quality controls to resolve gaps/issues
o Document inventory of current state data quality controls
o Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure that data is properly integrated thru the various systems
o Develop complex data quality audits using SQL to identify possible data issues
o Identify, assess, monitor, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used
o Generate reports and provide insights on data quality, progress, and issues to management

o Experience pulling data from various systems
o Experience with SQL queries
o ERP Systems (open to any ERP)
o Experience with Excel
o ETL and data modeling knowledge is a plus
o Strong written and verbal communications skills
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment
o Experience working with cross-functional teams (business and IT)
o Ability to work in decentralized team and communicate using virtual communications tools (phone, conferencing, web meetings, etc.)
o Self-starter that does not need to wait for instructions; takes actions to achieve goals; proactive
o Experience in facilitation skills, verbal, written, and visual communications
o Exceptional problem solving and strong analytic skills
