We are a Licensed Customs Broker who specializes in duty drawback. There is an opportunity to join our talented team as a: Analyst. Industry training begins "day 1"! Someone who would do well in this role has the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or greater preferred. Computer science, analytics, math, economics, or similar field.
Advanced critical thinking skills.
Advanced Excel knowledge including Macros, pivot tables, x & v-lookup, and DAX functions.
Strong ability to analyze, problem solve, and interpret data.
Preferred candidate has 1+ years of experience in a relevant field
Analyst Role:
Validate Data/General Data Handling:
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and structure large data sets to find usable information.
Review and cleanse unstandardized client data to maintain internal data integrity standards, including validity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Regular bulk uploads to create and manage data files and databases.
Manual data entry to resolve issues or make updates.
Complete document audits to maintain internal data integrity standards.
Analysis and Reporting:
Complete comprehensive client analyses, with an ability to independently determine the most advantageous method of obtaining revenue while considering a variety of complex regulatory requirements.
Prepare import and export data for use in the analysis based on the required regulatory requirements.
Test a variety of models utilizing multiple parameters based on the required regulatory requirements.
Use cleaned data to create reports and analyses for internal teams and external clients that are well documented and easy to comprehend.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Project Management:
Attend, manage, and organize meetings with clients regarding their account alongside team lead.
Communicate and coordinate with client point-of-contact to gather documents and data.
Respond to all correspondence in a professional, thorough, accurate, concise, and timely manner.
Manage action items for ongoing accounts.
Assist other teams as needed in preparing or cleaning data or testing data in internal analysis system.
Create and maintain client specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
