The Data Administrator is responsible for collecting and analyzing all data used by each department, including; (Primarily) Purchasing, Recon, Marketing, Packaging, Intake, Transfers and Sales. They are the secondary contact for all Mint related Analytics and all systems support. They are responsible for creating systems and reports to be utilized to find information regarding inventory, product sales, employee sales numbers, facility sales numbers, and labor. The Junior Data Analyst should be able to turn project requirements into custom-formatted data reports. This person will be able to do complete life cycle data and outline critical information for Project Managers and Head Purchaser, and most importantly, look at strategic options to elevate the program and expand operations into new areas and opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track and run employee incentives given by Purchasing Manager
- Assist the purchasing department with scheduling
- Assist the purchasing and inventory departments with splitting/tracking product and promo item deliveries
- Run weekly on hand inventory and par numbers
- Running credit reports and discount audits to maintain our purchasing budget.
- Point of contact for secondary analytic needs
- Pulling any necessary market analysis data for purchasing and marketing departments
- Pulling and dissecting data on labor to ensure efficiency in each department
- Develop, enhance, and track reporting on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner.
- Manages set expectations; prioritizing own workload and provides visibility and updates to managers regarding project timelines and deliverables.
- Support all departments by evaluating the fiscal performance of the categories they manage, as well as developing recommendations intended to improve sales and profitability
- Provides summary analyses in written and oral presentation settings.
- Documents results, researches system issues and documents findings.
- Analyze business procedures and recommend specific types of data that can be used to improve upon them.
- Provide support and analysis of investigation and resolutions pertaining to the protection of people, product, assets and data for The Mint
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Market analysis research
- Mathematics
- Experience with Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Google Suite programs
- Experience with cannabis related POS and BI systems such as Dutchie (preferred), Treez, Biotrack
- Experience with Slack (or similar communications platform)
- Google Workplace & Google Calendar

- Coding and/or formula writing (not required)
