Dance, Musical Theatre & Art Instructors

Are you a fun, upbeat, reliable and dynamic instructor looking for part time after-school work? Then that is YOU!!!! We are looking for talented enrichment instructors who can work various schedules during after school hours. Locations mainly in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan. Salary ranges between $30-$40 hourly.

Musical Theatre - Our classes consist of monologues, skits, acting, commercials, improvisation, and “Broadway” style dance. This class will follow a jazz warm up and will have progressions and center floor work and combinations that combine acting with jazz dance. The students will enjoy interacting with each other and seeking reactions from their fellow peers.

Double Dutch -An introductory class to the art of jumping rope (single and double). This fun class promotes coordination, balance, stamina, focus and also allows students to tap into a creative way to exercise and learn jump rope tricks.

Urban Art - Fun DIY projects and fashion based activities. May be required to showcase projects in an art gallery.

Cooking - This enrichment is a fun and educational class that will teach students essential kitchen skills, safety, techniques, food experimentation, while tasting and learning to prepare a wide variety of delicious foods along the way.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have experience working with children between the ages of 5 and 18.
• Overall positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least 3 year experience in specific instruction.
• Must be able to demonstrate enrichment specific skills.
• MUST BE RELIABLE

All candidates must be able to pass DOH background check and have an up to date physical (TB). All instructor must complete weekly lesson plans.
