Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily hygiene maintenance, personal care, and ambulation
Taking vital signs and answering patient calls
Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas
Carry out assignments and plans as directed by Registered Nurse and/or licensed Therapist for individualized patient care
Assists in the communication of information to assigned patients
Advocates for patient care issues to ensure that overall quality and type of care is sensitive to each specific patient/family's needs
Requirements:
Current Nursing Assistant certification, valid in CT
Current CPR / BLS certification preferred but not mandatory
Ability to build rapport with support staff and patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
