Functional Overview:

To the trade Showroom Sales Assistant for the Villa & House (Originally Bungalow 5) Dallas Showroom. Ideally, the right Sales Assistant will have prior experience in the luxury goods, high end retail or wholesale furniture sales industry with a proactive spirit and an ability to learn new software systems with ease.

Responsibilities:

• Possess a complex understanding of the customer experience, with the ability to elevate service levels to exceed expectations.
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries regarding current availability, pricing, tear sheets, quotes and confirmations.
• Provide and update information to customers with accuracy and proficiency.
• Process registrations and shipments in a timely manner
• Learn and utilize company software platforms, adopting best practices to meet and exceed expectations and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and accurately, both internally and externally.
• Ability to adopt and present full understanding of product catalog and finishes
• Maintain showroom presentation aligning with management direction.
Work with customers, both retail and to the trade, in project planning and product selection

Requirements:

• Prior retail or sales experience preferred. Degree in interior design or prior to the trade experience a huge plus!
• Experience and/or understanding of elevated expectations of the luxury clientele
• Proactive and willing to work autonomously
• Tech savvy, with a curiosity about learning new systems.
• Detail oriented and highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Possess professional, positive and enthusiastic attitude and appearance.
• Able to engage with clients directly, focus on building lasting relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, prior CRM or ERP experience a plus!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to Lift Small To Large Items Weighing Up To 50 lbs. Or More While Utilizing The Appropriate Equipment And Safety Measures
• Ability To Stand For Long Periods Of Time
• Ability To Ascend & Descend Ladders, As Needed
