Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Cycle Counter/Material Handler - 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.

What you'll do:
The Cycle Counter must remain proficient in all operations involving handling material within the plant. They must be able to work closely with Group Leaders and Production Supervisors to maintain an efficient flow of materials to production. Work Safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. Report on-the-job injuries and unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor.

• Conduct cycle counts per ABC classification and frequency parameters. Identify and correct errors.
• Monitor and maintain accuracy of all inventory bin locations.
• Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate counts and measures.
• For physical inventory, coordinate completion of all preparatory tasks and serve as floor coordinator during the count
• Able to work efficiently and independently to establish standards without constant supervision.
• Track and report on inventory record accuracy.
• You will read, ensure all material is identified, labeled and perform daily cycle counts and bin checks as needed
• You will take daily inventory of material and retrieve material from warehouse to replenish stock within the department; load materials onto carts and deliver to appropriate areas
• You will replace excess material to the proper pallet after completion of job, fill out Return to Stock form, and return material to warehouse
• You will follow standard work by completing appropriate documentation: inventory spreadsheet, turn in consignment tickets, 5S+/TPM logs, daily housekeeping log, rejected material forms, Kanban board, etc.
• You will perform quality procedures by checking incoming material product for general quality/function/appearance, Quality Alert items and Deviation to process; stage rejected material in MRB area after completing appropriate documentation
• You will keep work area "tour ready" by performing 5S+ housekeeping activities daily
• You will work efficiently to achieve departmental goal for standard hours by keeping needed material on hand
• You will with team members to identify improvements to current process and notify appropriate support (Supervisor/Group Leader) following the escalation process for all issues that aren't resolved.
• Cross train for other areas as needed

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Forklift certification
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship
