About the Team: The ZF Garrett team supports packaging and light assembly of braking, electronics and steering products for automotive service distribution. The Cycle Counter will be responsible for maintaining the cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy in the ERP system while primarily driving a forklift. This role is collaborative and will work with the materials and operations team to ensure accuracy of material. A key to success for this role is strong data entry and PC experience, problem solving, being detailed orientated and warehouse experience.
What you can look forward to as a Cycle Counter:
- Perform warehouse inventory row verification to contain known ERP system failures
- Assist with inventory warehouse organization activities and partial consolidations
- Perform cycle count activities including creation of cycle count reports and count sheets
- Investigate inventory discrepancies to define and track root cause
- Initiate and enter correcting transactions in the ERP system
- Assist with disposition of scrap material
Your Profile as a Cycle Counter:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic computer skills and data entry required
- Basic math skills
- Hi Lo driving license preferred; must be willing to obtain it otherwise
- Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
- Experience with scan guns preferred
