Job Summary:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records throughout the manufacturing locations. This position will require flexible hours as training will be on 1st shift (6am-4:30pm). (Temp to hire position)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains material and inventory levels. Performs cycle counts and records results.
- Performs weekly and monthly stock counts for the assigned plant.
- Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Inputs data and generates audit reports.
- Process and tracks purchase orders and changes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate with management and personnel within the organization.
- Operating programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Amtech, and Crystal Reports.
- Ability to read and understand packaging design specifications and bills of materials.
- Ability to research and identify products.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge and experience in the field of corrugated/multi-material expendable and returnable packaging.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, lift, carry, push, and pull.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
