RMC is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist for a full-time hybrid position in Yuma, AZ.

POSITION SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION

Cybersecurity Specialist specializing in Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Windows Server, Network, and Systems Administration, you will be at the forefront of protecting the Department of Defense (DoD)’s operational technology (OT) environment and ensuring the integrity and availability of DoD OT and Information Technology (IT) systems. The position will be hybrid in Yuma, Arizona and this candidate will be required to be on site 2-3 days a week.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security:
      • Assess, design, and implement security solutions for ICS environments, including SCADA systems, PLCs, and related infrastructure.
      • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments for ICS systems.
      • Monitor ICS-specific security incidents and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Windows Server Administration:
      • Administer and maintain Windows server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
      • Implement server hardening, patch management, and system optimization.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly.
  • Network Administration:
      • Configure, manage, and maintain a secure network infrastructure.
      • Monitor network traffic for security threats and anomalies.
  • Systems Administration:
      • Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT systems.
      • Ensure timely patching, updates, and system configuration management for security and performance.
      • Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Security Policy and Compliance:
      • Develop, enforce, and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
      • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, CIS).
      • Conduct cybersecurity training and awareness programs for staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies:

  • Experience in ICS security, Windows server administration and network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with ICS protocols and SCADA systems.
  • Proficiency in network security tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience:

  • 1 to 5 years
  • Experience can be substituted for a degree

Computer Skills:

  • Experience using tools and applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.

Required Certificates & Licenses:

  • CompTIA Security

Desired Certificates & Licenses:

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CASP).


Other Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Obtaining a DoD SecretApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job.
  • Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.
  • Travel Flexibility:Willingness and capability to travel, CONUS & OCONUS approximately 25% of the time.
    • Limited telecommunication is authorized for this role.
  • Work Environment Compliance: Commitment to maintaining a drug-free work environment, U.S. Citizenship, and possession of a valid state driver's license.
