Job Description
This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day on-site in Vienna, 1 day on-site in Washington, D.C. and 3 days working remotely.
Qualified candidates will be U,S. Citizens with a background in cyber security (Isso/RMF), who are able to obtain a public trust clearance.
Our clients Cyber Solutions Practice is searching for a Project Manager to join our team of Cyber Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Washington, DC (currently hybrid) and at consulting locations all around the DC Metro Area. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources. This position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. Responsibilities
- The Project Manager will oversee the performance of all contract tasks by project personnel
- Direct and monitor the performance of day-to-day program/project activities
- Serve as the primary POC for all contract delivery activities
- Coordinate with customer management and project resources to communicate the status of program objectives and activities, and to proactively resolve issues and problems as they arise
- Enhance project processes and develop new processes working in close conjunction with established team leads, the client, and relevant stakeholders
- Perform time tracking and reporting, on-boarding and off-boarding of personnel, resource planning, status reporting, and administrative oversight
- Coordinate peer reviews of project deliverables
- Perform final quality reviews of project deliverables prior to customer delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of overall experience (preferably as an ISSO); must possess five (5) years of experience as a Lead or Project Manager (PM), supporting IT or Cybersecurity projects.
- Must have experience in developing project management briefs and reports
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and achieve measurable results
- Oversees the performance of assigned tasks by project personnel and directs and monitors the performance of day-to-day task activities.
- CISSP (or Associate CISSP), CISM, CAP, GSLC, or CASP certification
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Hybrid role; candidate must go to government site in DC (1 day); EGT Corporate in Rosslyn (1 day) and 3 days telework; but subject to change if the Government requires increased onsite support.
Desired Qualifications
- PMP or other Project Management certification (a plus to have)
