The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for the daily management of certificates and cryptographic key operations. This includes management and coordination of new and renewals of certificates for both Internal and external customers and managing keys and certificates on servers, keystores, load balancers, containers, and within enterprise tools. You will work with the Cybersecurity team on any required remediation activity, as well as future proofing of processes to ensure compliance with best practices, regulatory requirements, and PCI requirements.
Essential Functions:
Serve as the point of contact for certificate questions and resolution of certificate issues
Develop, maintain, and publish certificate and asymmetric key management processes, procedures, and inventories
Coordinate with external and internal customers in the maintenance of required certificates in adherence to Visa certificate renewal timelines
Manage cryptographic keys securely throughout the defined cryptographic lifecycle (generation, conveyance, storage, cryptoperiod, replacement/rotation, escrow, destruction)
Mentor organization on cryptographic control best practices and consult with internal teams to identify and define cryptography requirements
Follow strict key management protocols including dual control and using cryptographic keys for their intended purpose
Provide first-class support to the Business for resolving certificate and key-related issues
Remain current with emerging certificate and cryptographic key administration technologies and practices

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
2+ years in certificate and/or key management
Knowledge of core cryptographic concepts and principles include encryption, authentication, and symmetric vs. asymmetric keys
Solid experience with Cybersecurity strategies and frameworks to protect data and assets
Experience with relevant standards (ISO, NIST, SOC)
Experience with PKI and CLM solutions
Designing certificate administration controls for use in a variety of technologies
Preferred certifications include PKI, Infrastructure IT, Systems Administration, Network Administration Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory and Virtualization.
Experience with PCI DSS and PCI 3DS standards
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,400.00 to 128,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
