What You’ll Do
- Cultivate a robust Threat Intelligence community
- Lead a group of threat intel focused community members to build a capability advancement roadmap
- Collaborate with our SOC participants to create, develop, and deliver a cyber intelligence services to advance community Threat Intelligence capabilities.
- Establish and operate essential processes for collecting Threat Intelligence, analyzing data, and producing actionable intelligence reports for various teams
- Develop Threat Intelligence reports on actors, campaigns, and emerging incidents impacting SOC clients
- Conduct trending and correlation of cyber intelligence sources to enhance cyber resiliency.
- Support the Security Operations Center during incident response and threat hunting activities, offering Cyber Threat analysis, research, and mitigation recommendations
- Foster industry contacts and relationships to facilitate intelligence-sharing
- Collaborate with the engineering team to manage and administer the Threat Intelligence Platform (MISP)
- Develop team roles and mentor new members to create a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Manage team KPIs and OKRs, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact and success.
Schedule
- This is a full-time salary position
- Monday – Friday and you will have preference for the time of day you work
- Our SOC operates 24x7x365.
Location
- This is a role can be remote. Candidates who live within a commutable distance from the MI office may work hybrid.
What You Bring to the TEAM
- Must be comfortable in an extroverted role, being on camera, and facilitating conversations
- Experience creating Threat Intelligence workflows and processes
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for guiding a group of junior team members
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities to engage with customers, partners, and peers
- Proficiency in producing finished intelligence analysis for various customer levels
- Experience delivering intelligence briefings to operational and leadership teams
- Experience as a high-performing practitioner in a Cyber Threat Intelligence role
- Dedication to protecting customers across various industry verticals and capability levels
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and motivated to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
Things We Love to See But Aren't Requirements
- Experience working with the MISP Platform or TIP platforms
- Familiarity with Information Sharing Organizations and Analysis Centers
- Knowledge of STIX and TAXI Cyber Threat information sharing standards and protocols
- Experience in cyber incident response and cyber incident management
