POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for management of Cyber Risk across multiple organizations. The role requires the Cyber Risk Advisor to be engaged in all facets of Cyber Risk including security, privacy, risk management, as well as security and compliance program development. As a member of the department, the individual will be committed to overall data protection, risk management and conducting risk assessments for clients. This is a visible role that collaborates with Sourcepass' clients. The position requires an organized team player with strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize daily work, and support multiple initiatives simultaneously. This position reports to the Director of Cyber Risk Advisory. The salary for this position is $90,000+ (negotiable based on experience).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support stakeholders responsible for protecting the security, confidentiality, privacy, integrity, and availability of data
- Assist the Cyber Risk Advisory team with conducting annual risk assessments and recurring risk management consultations with clients.
- Field requests for specific risk analyses and serve as subject matter expert on questions around risk exposure and risk tolerance
- Provide support of new product implementation to ensure products comply with organizational information security, privacy standards and security best practices
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management. Drive problem investigations and resolution as required
DESIRED SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE
- Firm understanding of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, NYDFS, FFIEC, COBIT, ISO 27000 and others
- Firm understanding of NIST Special Publications or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Strong understanding of information technology and security solutions
- Understanding of risk and mitigation tactics
- Establish and demonstrate subject matter expertise on cybersecurity risk management and analysis
- Strong business acumen to include verbal and written communication skills. Skill in planning and preparing written communications
- Bachelor's Degree in information security, cybersecurity, information security assurance, or related field is preferred
