Constructing an interactive course that teaches critical cyber security tactics, techniques, and procedures requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customers. We have an opportunity for an instructional designer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in cyber security by engineering effective training environments for defensive and offensive cyberspace operations.
On our team, you’ll work with SMEs, instructors, cyberspace operators, and product designers to capture your customer’s training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their readiness goals. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you’ll design and engineer Cyber Ranges and training material.
You’ll apply cyber operations analysis expertise to enable the training of students on cyberspace operations, processes, and procedures. You'll develop Cyber Range material and solutions to integrate the realistic scenario support to cyberspace operations functions. As a Cyber Range Environment Planner, you'll coordinate solutions to enable the training of students on local hosts, including Windows, Linux, network infrastructure, and other related cyber principles. You'll interface with military organizations in the design process to translate training objectives into Cyber Range and scenario requirements. In this role, you'll collect, monitor, and report ongoing requirement efforts to internal and external mission partners to ensure projects meet mission needs and timelines.

You Have:
Experience with delivering cyberspace environments to training organizations
Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and SharePoint
Knowledge of cybersecurity and cyberspace operations, including Joint publications, doctrines, and policy implementations
Ability to formulate recommendations for corrective actions to address identified risks and support cyberspace training
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
3+ years of experience with cyberspace operations
Knowledge of modern computer systems, including client and server, LAN/WAN and network concepts, and modern network management and security monitoring concepts
Ability to advise on network security issues and enforce network security and vulnerability mitigation policies and procedures
Possession of excellent project management and organization skills, including drafting clear and concise reports and briefing daily network security summaries, related issues, and concerns to senior leaders and a larger audience
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
