Our client is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Analyst to join their team. Our client is an organization widely known for their work with groundbreaking technology and advanced equipment. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform independent and collaborative research (not purely checklist driven)
  • Real-time security monitoring and historical searches for potential incidents.
  • Collaborate with others to validate findings
  • Create and update documentation
  • Respond to security alerts, partner inquiries, and other requests.
  • Manage and triage security incidents throughout the lifecycle and maintain accurate records of security incidents in case management systems
  • Supporting and developing Requests for Information (RFI), alert notification, reports during and after incidents


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Cyber Analyst
  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise, Wireshark, Bro/Zeek/Corelight systems strongly preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology related field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Software Engineering).

Salary

  • *This is a flexible, full-time role for either 1099 or W2 employees. Rate minimums begin at $60 per hour and are commensurate with experience.


Mandatory Requirements


  • You must be a U.S. citizen to acquire a DOE Q Level security clearance, as well as higher clearance levels as required.
  • This is a full-time position based in Idaho Falls, ID. We are open to contract, consulting and direct hire options.
