Goldman Sachs Ayco Personal Financial Management partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce—leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees’ financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their Personal Financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.
Our services benefit organizations by providing time back to their employees, helping the employees and organization navigate risk and the complexities in personal finances, and most importantly educating the employees on how to best optimize the company offered compensation and benefit plans leading to attraction and retention of their workforce.

Are you a quick-thinking self-starter with a passion for B2B sales, have the ability to earn the rapport of your senior cross-divisional peers to leverage firmwide connectivity, and can think outside the box to drive commercial sales? Our workplace strategy sales team is the distribution arm for the business services we deliver and are responsible for leading the charge in selling to Fortune 1000 companies as a benefit of employment. The sales team leverages connectivity across the firm for introductions to senior C-Suite contacts across corporate America with the purpose for raising awareness for the value of our services and selling our comprehensive financial planning programs to corporate companies.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with regional leadership to drive sales and marketing efforts
- Leverage your sales experience and operational background to contribute to a growing business
- Cultivate referrals and opportunities through internal Ayco Personal Financial Management resources, firm wide connectivity, and an external network of contacts
- Required to collaborate across divisions and with multiple stakeholders
- Analyze the region’s business, identify opportunities and helping set client acquisition strategy
- Lead the regional marketing process inclusive of strategy, meeting flow, strategic positioning, delivery of presentations and proposals, and contract negotiations
- Learn from sales leadership with a long-term goal of being able to develop and maintain strong relationship with C-Suite clients and prospects within the Fortune 1000 and current book of business
- Represent Ayco Personal Financial Management and promote our services at industry conferences and networking gatherings
- Maintain operational reports detailing sales leads, activities and results
- Serve as a coach and mentor for more junior teammates
- Extensive travel required for this position
WHERE WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
This role will be located on the west coast in either San Francisco, CA, Irvine, CA or Seattle, WA but will support the broader west coast region. The larger Ayco Personal Financial Management business spans the country, with the following locations in the United States: Atlanta (GA), Boston (MA), Canonsburg (PA), Chicago (IL), Cincinnati (OH), Cohoes (NY), Dallas (TX), Deerfield (IL), Irvine (CA), Houston (TX), Latham (NY), Los Angeles (CA), Minneapolis (MN), New York (NY), Parsippany (NJ), Philadelphia (PA), San Francisco (CA), Saratoga Springs (NY), Seattle (WA), Troy (MI), Washington, D.C. (DC) and West Palm Beach (FL)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7+ years B2B/commercial sales experience required
- Executive compensation, employee benefits, marketing and/or retirement/investment planning is preferred; benefits or executive compensation consulting background a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in marketing, business, or other financial planning related areas
- Track record of selling services and solutions to Fortune 1000 companies preferred
- Experience operating in executive level services and client interactions preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment
- Commitment to excellence and a high degree of integrity
