Contractor will serve as a resource for team of 13 Estate Settlement Officers to administer trusts and probate estate for Edward Jones Trust Company clients. Duties and tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Researching possible Trust and Estate accounts and assets and helping marshal those assets.
- Serving in-office as part of dual control over TPP and other trust assets held by EJTC that need to be appraised, sold, distributed, etc.
- Processing paperwork to assist with settlement of probate estate.
- Researching options to address assets within estate settlement work (car titles & transfers, etc).
- Coordinating multiple requests and projects from multiple Estate Settlement Officers at once, staying on top of deadlines and communicating status updates, managing & resetting expectations when all requests cannot be completed.
- Researching and completing process for collecting bank accounts, life insurance policies, annuities, etc.
- High energy high performing team to work with. Team is collaborative and willing to help contractor learn the "why" to help them process the work correctly and efficiently.

- Experience as a paralegal in estate settlement work, probate work, or other work related to estate planning.
- Organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple people and completing tasks correctly and on time.
- Ability to prioritize and shift priorities if an urgent task comes in including willing and able to ask questions if unsure of priority or communicate with those impacted if priorities must change.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Selected candidate will need to be at minimum in the office 3 days a week. Will be able to work remotely 2 days a week.
