Salary Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Lordstown, OH
Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm Tuesday-Saturday (Saturday is possible exception with 8:00am-2:00pm)
Payrate: Starting at $17 per hour
SCOPE OF POSITION:
Coordinates and performs all distribution center data entry functions to ensure accurate and timely information for customers and for the Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters or processes data daily for various distribution center functions to provide accurate information to customers, reduce errors, improve customer service, contain costs, and facilitate smooth operations.
- Answers and places telephone calls with the highest level of customer service.
- Troubleshoots ordering or delivery issues and answers customer questions, often requiring additional research and follow-up.
- Communicates with stores to obtain necessary information for order creation and planning.
- Maintains file of invoices, credits, and charges.
- Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent listening skills.
- Ability to follow processes, multitask, and enjoy interacting with people.
- Positive attitude, articulate, and professional demeanor.
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in data entry and customer service. Excellent administrative experience, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of computer-based inventory control systems and order processing concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to identify problems for early resolution, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and work effectively in a business environment with a focus on quality and customer service.
