Cut Server:
The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group has established CUT and Sidebar with the objectives of providing a unique cuisine paired with a special ambiance in order to create a memorable fine dining experience for our guests. CUT and Sidebar are part of our continuous effort to offer superlative quality and the highest level of gracious and courteous guest service. To perform successfully, CUT and Sidebar employees must not only have the qualifications and abilities to perform each of the essential functions of this position, but also must continually strive to meet or surpass The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group's objectives and exacting standards.
Candidate is preferred to have 3-5 years previous experience in fine dining food and beverage service and/or related food and beverage experience. Candidate must have excellent knowledge of food preparation, fine dining Cooking and serving techniques, standard cocktails and fine wines.
Responsibilities
The CUT Front Server is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. Responsibilities include;
- Taking food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in- a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- The ability to offer guests an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence, food quality, professionalism, and friendliness equal to that of the finest restaurant in the city.
- Also will comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Food and Beverage duties
