Gentech Ltd. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented experienced customer service representative to work in our office in New Windsor. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team as well as offering exceptional customer service to our clients. As an essential member of the team, you will help to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office while promoting our company's commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain focus on providing every customer with a positive experience
- Quickly assess all incoming calls to prioritize according to the level of urgency
- Collect payments and follow up on any past due accounts
- Obtain required information for new customers as well as confirm and adjust previously recorded data for existing customers as needed
- Accurately schedule and confirm appointments
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Convert sales and service leads into clients by creating contracts and following up
- Refer issues and questions to the appropriate person or managers when necessary
- Effectively perform a variety of other assignments as required
Requirements
- Experience thriving under pressure and/or in a high call volume setting is required
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills
- Proven experience and tenacity in collections and accounts receivable
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required
- Excellent verbal and written communication a must
- Adaptable, provides feedback to improve processes and implements change as necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
