Position: Customer Support Sales Representative – Corporate Markets
Objective:
The Customer Support Sales Representative provides superior Customer Support and account management to promotional and premium incentive distributors, suppliers, and key accounts and supports overall sales goals and objectives by effectively increasing sales to drive ongoing and new business development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage orders through the production process across multiple locations
- Perform accurate data entry of detailed information in accordance with established standards
- Provide superior internal account management support to Key Customer Accounts and Sales Representatives, and effectively build relationships with Key Accounts and Sales Representatives.
- Process customer orders under strict deadlines and communicate any delays in orders.
- Resolve order errors and pricing discrepancies aggressively while simultaneously working to prevent and reduce discrepancies
- Prepare clear process documentation outlining daily functions and use to assist with training/cross training
- Tactfully and professionally communicate company policies, procedures, and standards with internal and external customers.
- Develop creative, well thought out solutions to customer needs and issues.
- Solve complex and critically time sensitive problems with minimal supervision
- Analyze reports to effectively make decisions on order management.
- Work on medium projects that may not be associated with daily activities
- Effectively increase sales and improve relationships with departmental accounts.
- Prospect and develop new and existing business over the phone.
- Recommend products to potential and existing customers based on needs.
- Use sales aptitude to present customers with product and production options.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improving department or organization productivity
- Make independent decisions on shipping, pricing and allocations in maximizing client expectations
- Work closely with Production, Marketing , Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping and Sales
- Participate in internal and external meetings and provide feedback
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 3 years minimum related experience – promotional or corporate gifts business industries a plus
- Previous inside sales experience or key account management highly desired.
- 4-year degree strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build product proposals for customer solutions
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced team environment
- High Level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with customers and clients
- Self starter with a solid ability to manage projects and customers with minimal supervision
- Strong computer aptitude with Microsoft Office Products and prior SAP Systems experience
- Comfortable with web based applications such as Microsoft SharePoint and Weblink
- A leader willing to take initiative and assist and follow through on tasks
- Must be able to work outside of business hours when business needs require
