Customer Service/Sales Support

Job Summary:

The sales support role will assist the Hi-Grade sales department in processing quotes and purchase orders, preparing billing, answering phones, and making outbound phone calls.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service required to both walk-in customers and clients requesting pricing.
• Heavy phones and paperwork processing.
• Process and follow up on quotes.
• Prepare billing by ensuring pricing and charges are accurate.
• Research and resolve invoice disputes and other billing inquiries from customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain and update customer records and contacts.
• Perform special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Proven experience with customer service (2+ years required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent math ability
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to follow company policies and work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Plan and organize work efficiently to meet schedules and changing deadlines.
• Adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Education

• High School Diploma / GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Job requires the following motions: sitting, standing, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
