Job Summary:
Hi-Grade Materials is hiring a talented Sales Support professional to join our team. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Hi-Grade is a great place to grow your career. The sales support role will assist the Hi-Grade sales department in processing quotes and purchase orders, preparing billing, answering phones, and making outbound phone calls.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service required to both walk-in customers and clients requesting pricing.
- Heavy phones and paperwork processing.
- Process and follow up on quotes.
- Prepare billing by ensuring pricing and charges are accurate.
- Research and resolve invoice disputes and other billing inquiries from customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain and update customer records and contacts.
- Perform special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Proven experience with customer service (2+ years required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent math ability
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow company policies and work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Plan and organize work efficiently to meet schedules and changing deadlines.
- Adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Education
- High School Diploma / GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Job requires the following motions: sitting, standing, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
