Customer Service/Counter Sales

Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is currently seeking an eager and dependable Customer Service Representative (Counter Sales) to join our team in Lakeland, Florida.

The Customer Service Representative (Counter Sales) will be responsible for assisting customers to purchase bricks, pavers, concrete block, and other masonry products while providing excellent customer service.

Location: Cement Products & Supply, 516 W Main Street Lakeland, FL. 33815

Counter Sales Required Skills and Abilities:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of concrete block, bricks, pavers, building products, etc; preferred
• Basic understanding of construction blueprints
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills; including Microsoft Office
• Willingness to learn

Counter Sales Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in customers to place orders
• Efficiently respond to customers’ calls and emails
• Suggest products to meet customers’ needs
• Process customers’ payments
• Resolve customer concerns
• Maintain communication with Dispatch and Yard Teams
• Able to lift 50lbs.
