Customer Service Supervisor

Posting Summary
Administrative supervision of the front desk staff and Customer Service operations. Provide information and assistance to students, faculty, staff, and visitors regarding the University’s parking regulations and procedures. Coordinate public outreach activities and service related to permitting issues. Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to provide an equitable resolution balancing department, University and customer needs, within strict deadlines. Assure cash-handling and auditing procedures are compliant with University policy.
Reporting to the Business Manager, this position requires active engagement in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering a great customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associates degree and three years supervisory and Customer Service management experience required. Demonstrated excellent communication and Customer Service skills.
Demonstrated ongoing commitment to workplace diversity, sustainability and delivering exceptional value and great experience to customers highly desirable.

A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), 40 hour work week, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions, Background Check required for this position
