Currently hiring for Dispatcher/CSR for a local 3PL distribution center located in the East side of Houston.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional Customer Service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Utilize Oracle Transportation Management system to analyze and track freight and logistics operations.
- Coordinate transportation management activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to optimize fleet management and route planning.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in the company database.
- Assist in resolving any issues or disputes related to transportation services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to transportation management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Oracle Transportation Management software or similar systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of freight, inventory, logistics, and transportation management processes.
- Familiarity with GIS and GPS technologies for fleet management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using phone systems and typing accurately.
