Customer Service Representative/Bank Teller

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting with the execution of branch activities, including day-to-day delivery of client-facing services, processing transactions, opening and closing accounts. The role of a Customer Service Representative is to provide exceptional Customer Service and maintain knowledge of products, fees and stay current on bank offerings that will deepen a customer relationship.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with opening accounts and process transactions accurately, including but not limited to deposits, transfers, withdrawals and other transactions in accordance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Processes all transactions within assigned limits, maintains daily cash, and ensures that cash balance does not exceed established limit. Adheres to accurate cash balancing procedures.
• Researches and resolves cash differences.
• Answer questions and resolve customer concerns regarding services provided by the Bank.
• Opening and Closing Savings/CD accounts.
• Assist with opening/closing branch procedures as necessary.
• Monthly certifications.
• Review and verify daily reports assigned by branch management.
• Adhere to bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of client and bank assets.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all bank products and services.
• Participate and contribute to the branch’s overall goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Skills:

• High School diploma
• Two years in Customer Service experience. Ability to manage difficult conversations to a successful outcome and positive customer experience.
• Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify document errors or variances and make corrections.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)
• Teller/ Banking Experience
• Efficient typing and data entry skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to be flexible, follow directions and work in a team environment to meet deadlines and other priority work commitments.
• Adaptable to change as CCB continues to grow and transition with digital transformation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
