Job Description
Wieland Small Tube Products is hiring a Customer Service Rep. The Customer Service Rep will be responsible for maintaining and servicing specific territory, assists and performs duties specific to the operations of the Customer Service Department. Established a rapport with existing and potential customers to bring service to a level that exceeds customer expectations in the processing of orders, quotations, and other service requirements.
This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM (100% On-Site)
Customer Service Rep Responsibilities:
- Leads quote preparation process and ensures timely response/communication with customer.
- Gathers appropriate product requirements from customers to ensure accurate costing and production requirements are developed.
- Works with key accounts for special projects and pricing of new items.
- Familiarizes self with product line, pricing structure, lead times, and various marketing/promotional activities as needed.
- Communicates with Process Engineering, Raw Materials, Shipping and other departments to ensure the highest level of customer support possible.
- Directs customers to appropriate internal contacts for technical assistance/guidance.
- Informs outside salespersons of customer contact within specific territories.
- Enters orders for production, expedites as needed.
- Maintains files (electronic and/or hardcopy) on customers as required.
- Prepares invoicing for the computer in a timely manner.
- Assists with the training of personnel within the department.
- Advises customers when necessary of shipment delays or other information.
- Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions, at both the customer level and internally.
Customer Service Rep Qualifications:
- Effective communication with customers, department members, and other employees.
- Completion/resolution of assigned tasks and customer inquiries in an accurate and timely manner.
- Achievement of assigned objectives.
- Maintain/continue professional development of self.
- 0-2 years of experience in a sales/ Customer Service role
- High School diploma or equivalent
