Pay Rate: $17/hr+ DOE
Required Qualifications:
• 2-3 yrs in clerical/Customer Service role
• Excellent Customer Service and listening skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Accurate data entry skills and working knowledge of Word and Excel
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Review life insurance applications and related documents for completeness for processing. Order records, reports or other documents needed for processing applications.
· Check, assemble and organize applications with incoming file requirements
· Handle calls by providing status of applications, answer inquiries, processing instructions to provide satisfactory service to agents or client. Prepares necessary forms, follows up on reinsurance payment, submits payment to Accounting, and prepares accounting entries.
· Issues or withdraws applications upon approval from Underwriter or failure to receive outstanding requirements. Set up approved file in system and sets up payment method for issued policies and communicates application status to agent as needed..
· Assembles new policies, reviews the printed policy and any associated documents to ensure all fields are correct and prepares the package for mailing.
