Overview:
Walsworth is hiring a Customer Service Representative at our facility in Ripon, Wisconsin. This position is responsible for coordinating the production of a print project from the time it is sold through completion of the project. This full-time, benefits-eligible role is part of a fun and dynamic team of Customer Service Representatives.
What You’ll Do in Your Role:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the point person overseeing every aspect of a customer's print project, from post-sale through project completion. The Customer Service Representative communicates with the customer to understand their needs and expectations; then communicates these details through the job ticket system and personal interactions with production personnel.
Essential Functions:
- Communicating with the customer to understand the needs and expectations of their print project.
- Reviewing and understanding quotations provided to the customer.
- Managing critical production dates.
- Entering clear job details in the job ticket system; communicating details to production personnel throughout the process.
- Creating purchase orders for special materials required for the job.
- Coordinating customer supplied materials.
- Working with prepress personnel to manage the process from print file receipt through the proofing process, including alterations.
- Verifying all print, bind, and mail details are accurate before the project is scheduled for production.
- Working with personnel in the Mail List Processing Department to ensure the project meets all USPS requirements and ensure all pertinent data has been collected from the customer regarding USPS forms and permits.
- Coordinating final-product distribution (mailing and shipping).
- Completing any postproduction tasks including researching shipping and delivery; quality investigations; and customer feedback.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient (5S) workspace.
- Implementing at least one process or safety improvement idea.
- Participating in at least two hours per year of educational experiences such as job shadowing, cross- training, webinars, seminars, etc.

- Customer service experience or aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational proficiencies, this position requires multitasking.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and inquisitive.
- Ability to work under pressure within tight time frames.
- Handle complex issues with composure and fairness.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years’ experience in a Customer Service role or similar position.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
