Customer Service Representative

Our company is currently seeking a forward-thinking, Customer Service & sales-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Customer Service Representative. We are located in the heart of Covina, and we are an innovative organization working with some of the nation’s largest government-funded telecommunication firms. Our job is to close the gap between our clients and their consumers by providing customer support and outreach to designated communities.

The main objectives of the position are to educate prospective consumers about specific telecommunication offerings, answer product and service questions, provide targeted customer support, close sales, negotiate contracts, and increase community outreach efforts across Bakersfield.

Entry Level Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Provide product/service demonstrations to customers and close sales
• Work directly with experienced Customer Service Representatives to gain a comprehensive understanding of our outreach and promotional sales tactics
• Attend daily meetings that comprise product knowledge training, account status updates, and brainstorming sessions to utilize in daily interactions with consumers to improve conversion rates and sales metrics
• Communicate directly in person with select accounts and demonstrate the utmost professionalism while following client compliance guidelines
• Use our current POS system to complete the enrollment process for consumers
• Ensure new members are fully educated on all products and services offered, and all questions or concerns have been satisfied
• Adhere to our company policies and demonstrate an understanding of our core leadership values
• Maintain relationships with existing clients/customers

Entry Level Customer Service Representative Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working in Customer Service, sales, or other consumer-involved industries is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales and customer satisfaction targets and quotas
• Able to take constructive feedback, and implement quickly and effectively
• Must be proficient in communicating externally and internally
• Team-oriented, driven, and have a competitive spirit
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients/customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
