Mountain Valley Orthopedic's is seeking a qualified candidate for checkin/check out and the call center as a Customer Service Representative for a busy multi-specialty Orthopedic practice. The successful candidate will have strong Customer Service skills, communication skills and the ability to perform the following tasks:
Summary:
- Register patients upon arrival
- Scan and attached registration paperwork to patient’s EHR
- Prepare paperwork for appointments
- Collect co-pays and balances
- Answers incoming telephone calls
- Direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task and maintain professional telephone etiquette
- Computer literate
- Problem solving skills in standardized situations
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
- Prior Customer Service Representative experience preferred
- Must be able to work one Saturday morning every 4 to six weeks
- Travel between the East Stroudsburg, Brodheadsville and Tobyhanna offices is required.
