We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support our team at our location in Burlington, North Carolina.
SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative provides the first point-of-contact support to our manufacturer’s representatives and customers. They are responsible for addressing a wide range of issues, questions, and requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
JOB DUTIES:
- Answer incoming calls and support customer sales through service, education and effective problem solving
- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
- Assist in the order check in process, which consist of proper coding on account, and determining proper price level.
- Work with Account Managers and Inside Sales if issues need to be addressed.
- Assist Account Managers and Directors with incoming quote request and follow-ups.
- Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with manufacturer’s reps and external customers
- Quickly resolve issues and proactively resolve process issues that can contribute to customer dissatisfaction
- Manage daily workload to meet or exceed all turnaround-time goals
- Notify supervisor regarding quality issues or customer concerns
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Preferred 2-5 years of experience in Customer ServiceOR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years general work experience
- Excellent Customer Service, listening, time management, organizational and proven follow-up skills
- Ability to prioritize and produce a high volume of work quickly, accurately and with a sense of urgency
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Computer literacy with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Professional/business maturity and solid work ethic
- Flexible team-player that takes initiative
