Customer Service Manager

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Manager, for immediate hire, to manage and oversee customer service function of our portfolio of insurance clients. We are mostly paperless so solid computer skills are required. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering phone inquiries from existing clients.
  
• Reviewing client information in database to respond properly to customers' inquiries.
• Assisting CSR's in their activity of client inquiries.
• Forwarding client calls to proper channels if necessary.
• Reviewing metrics of the activity of the customer service department.
• Assist in hiring new CSR's as the company grows.
• Train new CSR's.
• Report directly to VP of Operations and coordinate with all c- level executives.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years prior customer service experience required. 
• At least 3 years prior management experience required, managing at least 5 others in a telephone or call center sales or customer service environment. 
• Strong computer skills, including basic knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word
• Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently, especially on a computer
• Ability to think independently
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Upbeat personality
• HS diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation to and from our office
