The Customer Service/Inside Sales position will be working with the sales and production team to help grow MGM Products. The Estimator/Inside Sales teammate will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders and corporate resources as required. You will grow our national footprint by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships within our existing accounts. This will require that you call on engineers, contractors, administrators, purchasing, and others to determine their needs through a consultative approach. You will also be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team. In this role you will report on sales activity and forecast directly to our President. This position provides leadership to achieve and maintain the highest standards of quality, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and service at the most competitive cost in support of company goals.
Job Duties:
Input and recommendations on strategies to drive sales wins.
Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactions.
Continuous cost analysis to make sure products are priced competitively and enable MGM Products to maximize profits.
Accurate reporting and insight on sales activity.
Actively monitor demand generation activities.
Lead initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement.
Develop and execute successful sales campaigns alongside outside sales team and marketing.
Capable of successfully managing significant client escalations and issues.
Develop Corporate relationships and seek Executive engagement to support success.
Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining existing customers and by opening new business.
Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
Survey market and competitive conditions.
Monitor and resolve customer complaints and follow up on outstanding orders as necessary.Provide production team and purchasing material lists when purchase order is converted to sales order to make sure all material is available for job.
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in Estimation or Inside Sales. HVAC industry, sheet metal and CAD experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills to help create positive outcomes.
Masterful in client engagement and positively impact how customers do business in an ever-changing environment.
Excellent in communication with both external and internal customers.
Excellent presentation, executive engagement skills, and communication skills (written & verbal).
Excellent negotiation skills with a strong drive for results.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing customer accounts.
High mechanical aptitude, mathematically inclined, and a strong sense of urgency.
Computer skills and knowledge, including Excel, Access, and strong business acumen.
Can collaborate and influence in a ?win as a team? environment.
