WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I (MCC)
As a Full Time Customer Service / Call Center Representative I at Christian Community Credit Union in San Dimas, CA, you will have the exciting opportunity to proactively educate our members on our comprehensive range of products and services. Harnessing your product knowledge and excellent communication skills, you will engage in meaningful dialogue to highlight the benefits of different account types, aiding members in selecting the most suitable option for their unique needs. By delivering exceptional member experiences through various channels such as phone, email, chat, and SMS, you will consistently exceed expectations. Your role will involve assisting members with both monetary and non-monetary transactions, inquiries, and problem-solving, ensuring that their interactions with our Credit Union are seamless and positive.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To excel as a Full Time Customer Service / Call Center Representative I at Christian Community Credit Union in San Dimas, CA, you must possess essential skills such as strong cross-selling capabilities gained from a minimum of one year of Customer Service experience within a bank or credit union setting. Proficiency in word processing (Word) and spreadsheets (Excel), would be advantageous. Your adaptability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, coupled with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, will be crucial in handling multiple tasks and member inquiries. Demonstrating good math aptitude, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, will enable you to provide top-tier service. Moreover, your ability to handle various interruptions while maintaining high productivity and accuracy, along with completing necessary training and certification for the role, are essential for success in this dynamic position.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a Customer Service position for a bank/credit union
  • Cross-selling experience required
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on computers; ability to work with supervision and follow instructions
  • Good telephone techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good math aptitude
  • Typing at 35 wpm
