Job Description
Job Title: Customer Service Associate
Reports to: Assistant Store Manager – Sales Floor
FLSA Status: Part-time – Non-Exempt (32-hour week)
(Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (from 9:30 am-6:00 pm)
Job Location: ReStore
Salary Range: $14 HR
Job Summary:Assist ReStore Customers by providing excellent Customer Service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers/donors as they enter the ReStore.
- Assist customers by answering questions they have.
- Enhance customer shopping experience by assisting with measurements and providing carts for loading.
- Issue hold tags and sold tags as necessary.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers and donors with their questions.
- Help maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor.
- Resolve customer complaints and ask for assistance when needed.
- Stock donations on the sales floor once processed and priced by receiving.
- Arrange donations aesthetically in correct department.
- Address potential hazards on the sales floor in an expedient manner.
- Monitor the sales floor for theft.
Skills Required
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must have problem solving skills.
- Must have good time management skills and be flexible to juggle an ever-changing environment.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds and handle the physical nature of the position.
