POSITION SUMMARY:
Customer Service Associates support law firms with various tasks, including drafting and reviewing documents, organizing and maintaining files, billing and invoicing, and providing administrative support, along with strong analytical and quantitative skills. The successful candidate will need to be well organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Word processing, transcribe dictation, draft and finalize correspondence and documents
- Prepare real estate documents relative to corporate acquisitions or transactions.
- Prepare and organize corporate and commercial documents.
- Prepares, processes, indexes, files and/or submits/transmits documents and records.
- Review, upload, and process daily correspondence delivered via email, fax or through our paperless software.
- Compiling billing statements and generating invoices for clients.
- Determining whether services have been performed or fees incurred in accordance with legal ethics standards.
- Amend invoices with guidance from billing attorneys and finalize for distribution.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail oriented.
- One year minimum office experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are required
- Advanced computer proficiency, especially with MS Office, Excel, and billing software programs.
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform successfully in a team environment.
