CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT JOB DESCRIPTION (Contract)
Job Description:
The SNAP Customer Service agent contract position is responsible for speaking English and or Spanish fluently to customers while delivering high quality consistently. As well as assisting with other SNAP tasks. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide excellent Customer Service to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone, resolving customer complaints, and providing general information about products and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Handle high inbound call volume. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction, meet company expectations and call metric goals
- Take the extra mile to engage customers and provide high quality Customer Service at all time
- Support work procedures and processes of the company and departmental standards and strategic directives. Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding customer’s concerns.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED diploma or Associate’s Degree
- Fluent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
- Great Attention to Detail and People Skills
- Great Organizational and Multitasking Skills
- Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills
- Entry level Technical and General Troubleshooting Skills
- Must be US Citizen
- Must be pass a standard background check
Classification:
Non - Exempt - Promotion
Salary Range:
$17.20 per hour and additional SCA wage $4.41 per hour
Reports to: Felix Melendez & La-Nette Sugars
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, Evening - Shift 11-8 PM
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED diploma/Associate’s Degree or at least one year of solid Customer Service experience
