Customer Service Agent

Our dynamic team seeks an enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional Customer Service to our insurance company clients and policyholders. You’ll be responsible for creating insurance policies, advising potential clients on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies. You'll also help resolve billing issues, change policies, and make policy recommendations. Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given
• Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions
• Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available
• Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved
• Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders

• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
• Develop new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients

Qualifications:

• A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred
• Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Understands how to utilize a database for processing client information and how to use Microsoft Office to create necessary documents
• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous Customer Service experience required for this position

• Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
• Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
• Must be coachable
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Must be motivated and determined
• Must have a positive attitude, be organized, and be reliable
