We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at our Countryside, IL location. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate handling of parts orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties to support our customers and maintain a smooth parts order process.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Answer Phones and Route Calls:
Serve as the primary phone operator, answering calls and directing them to the appropriate department.
Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Handle parts orders received via email, phone, and internet promptly and accurately.
See the parts order process through from the initial order to customer receipt.
Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively and in a timely manner.
Ensure the accuracy of all parts orders processed.
Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files.
Update customer information in accounting software.
Support the accounting department by filing documents and maintaining organized records.
Actively work towards improving the parts order entry process.
Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
Previous experience in Customer Service or related field is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using basic computer applications.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
