Position Purpose:
The Customer Account Specialist I is responsible for providing world class service and support to all Division 10 and 90 customers through effective communication, detailed documentation, and extensive knowledge of TEL products and services. As a liaison between TEL and the customer, the Customer Account Specialist I is tasked with promptly resolving customer issues while maintaining positive rapport.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance effectiveness of providing world class service and support.
  • Effectively collaborate in a team environment to promptly resolve Customer Support Cases.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Leasing Operations Team to ensure clear communication with customers through the life cycle of the lease from onboarding to lease maturity.
  • Assist with all requested administrative processes and customer service functions of the division.
  • Build and develop close, long-term relationships with customers through effective account management and high-level customer service.
  • Work closely with Business Development Executives to expedite deal closure and implementation by gathering necessary details/documentation and capturing these activities in Salesforce.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all TEL products and services available with ability to speak at length about the TEL Advantage.
  • Promptly resolve internal and external inquiries daily through various mediums of electronic communication or by phone.
  • Attend interdepartmental meetings to discuss organizational changes and have the ability to adapt to enhanced workflows.
  • Ensure all relevant customer data is current in Salesforce through regularly scheduled communications.
  • Be a resource for Division 10 and 90 Sales team members to enhance the customer experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a customer service role, preferred.
  • Work experience that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility, required.
  • Salesforce experience, preferred.
  • Leasing or transportation industry experience, preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of TEL’s Fleet Leasing products and services.
  • Have positive, high energy and desire to work hard to accomplish goals.
  • Effective listener with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills for understanding pricing models and calculating percentages and lease rates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to promptly resolve customer needs or complaints.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with the varying needs of different customer types.
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing customer data.
  • Solid team player with the ability to work with others to source solutions and provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Coachable with desire to learn and expand skill set.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 products to include Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Wage:
$23 - $26 per hour based on experience
