CUSTOMER ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE (PART-TIME)

Water Customer Accounting Department

Duties: Performs general office duties for the Water Customer Accounting Department including data entry, typing, filing, basic bookkeeping, & cashiering; position requires continual contact with utility customers; receives customer service requests & enters data into computer; answers inquiries & provides customer service in-person & via telephone; processes payments & answers general questions.

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Experience: Two (2) years of experience in bookkeeping, clerical, & customer service work preferred; must have excellent telephone communication skills & the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy office; must accurately type 40 words per minute.

Work Type: Light, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; hours may fluctuate.

Starting pay: $17.21-18.07/hr. DOQ EOE
